Jonathan (Ojon) Kusuma is a Jakarta-based music director , musician , song writer , and a DJ. Despite having worked as a graphic designer after receiving formal training on it, he soon left the industry to fully focus on music. With two of his friends, he established Space.rec in 2009, a record label that has been releasing albums and singles by local musicians since. Whether with his band Space System, or as a solo musician, Ojon’s work has been released by local and international record labels, namely Bravura (London), Fast Forward Rec (Bandung), Jeansreatti (Italy), Pizzico (Italy), Optimo (Glasgow), Love International (Malaysia), and Buy You Sell Me (UK), with upcoming releases at Akamady Records (Jakarta), Future10 (Jakarta) and Bravura (UK). He is also one of the founders of Akamady, an online vinyl store.

Ojon’s love for the visual arts is apparent through the event yers and the cover artworks for records released by Space.rec and Akamady Records that he created. A talented artist, he also actively participates in various group art exhibitions locally. For Ojon, music and art is inseparable from one another. Passionate about his work, he takes each stride as part of a bigger project of contributing to the international dance scene and putting Indonesia in the global dance map.
